Eric Lloyd

Eric started his professional landscape career in the mid 1990’s with a local landscaping/excavating company. As a member of the mowing crew, his hard work and passion for the industry was recognized by the management and he was quickly promoted to the Landscape Installation Division.

With an interest to expand his skill set, Eric then accepted a position with a large landscape maintenance company as a Route Supervisor in their Turf Care Division. He was then promoted to a Tree and Shrub Care Specialist who was also responsible for overseeing the weekly production of up to four other technicians.

Eric then moved to a well-established tree service where he was further able to expand his tree knowledge and experience.

Continuing to seize opportunities within the industry, Eric accepted a position at the largest in-house landscaping company in Michigan. As a Landscape Reconstruction Supervisor in charge of large scale enhancements and construction projects ranging into the millions, he was exposed to a new segment of the industry that he was so passionate about. Taking advantage of training through MSU, OCC, and the MDARD, as well as courses offered by his company, he again expanded his skill set even further by branching out into account managing, project bidding, project coordinating, and project managing. The training he received included both quality control and formal supervisory instruction.

Most recently Eric has partnered with Paul Opdyke and Matt West. He is the Sales Manager and a co-owner of Serene Landscape Group/Adventure Window Cleaning. The partnership has allowed him to grow as a professional within the landscape and snow removal industry, as well as the window cleaning industry.

Eric explains, “As a co-owner, I have been afforded the ability to continue to educate myself, and my staff to assist in the growth and success of something bigger than myself. Lofty goals, strong team, family support, and committed partnerships have allowed me to continue to flourish in the industry that I am so passionate about. Creating an industry-wide culture change, building extraordinary relationships, and striving to be leaders in our profession as well as our community, continues to fuel me on a daily basis.”
